A space for healing and growth.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, where we work together to explore, understand, and create meaningful change. Together, we can build a space for you to make sense of your current experience and connect more deeply with yourself. Trained in treating trauma, I understand how our bodies and minds can react and adapt to our histories. We can work together to foster more internal awareness, acceptance, and collaboration between all the parts that make you, you.

By understanding your experiences within both personal and societal contexts, I strive to help you feel more grounded, authentic, and connected in your daily life. Together, we can work to create a path toward healing and lasting change.

Margaret (Maggie) Vocos, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker with specialized training in treating complex trauma. My approach is informed by sensorimotor psychotherapy, a body-centered modality that addresses the somatic symptoms of unresolved trauma. I believe deeply in the transformative power of therapy and earned my graduate degree in clinical social work from the University of Michigan. In my practice, I bring curiosity and exploration, seeing therapy as a creative, imaginative, and relational process. I am committed to working in an anti-oppressive way, recognizing that much of human suffering is shaped by inequitable systems. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, half-finishing craft projects, reading, and watching bad reality TV.

I am currently seeing clients virtually.
